General Hospital spoilers report Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) meant business when she showed up at Wyndemere to demand that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) do something about Professor Henry ‘Hank’ Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) sloppy ways of handling the PCU lab where they’ve been carrying out their top secret cold fusion research.
Still, she never expected Sidwell to act so swiftly in both recognizing and dealing with the liability that Dalton had become. Shooting him dead right in his living room right in front of Britt, she may now come to regret the position she’s left in as Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) is no longer the only innocent child on the hook for trashing Dalton’s lab.
With both Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Atonyzyn) now confessing to having been present in an attempt to squash Dalton’s narrative, his sudden disappearance could leave several Port Chuck families looking complicit. Will Britt blow the whistle on the work she was doing with Dalton, even if it means risking suffering the same fate he did?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ric’s Warning Was Perfectly Timed
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) didn’t mince words on Wednesday when he warned Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) not to do anything to try to “help” Rocco, Danny, and Charlotte’s case. He knows his half brother all too well.
The last thing they need right now are the optics that anyone attached to those kids made Dalton disappear — or worse. Unfortunately for them, the optics will look worse than the truth.
Without Dalton there to speak to his side of the story, all three kids could be cut loose, but will the District Attorney see it that way?
GH Spoilers Tease Britt’s Value Just Went Up
No one fully understood that Britt was working with Dalton in that lab until just recently.
Moreover, while Emma Scorpio Drake (Bradyn Bruner) and Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) might have known and looped Rocco, Charlotte, and Danny in, it didn’t hit them the same way that it hit Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) when he learned that it was Britt’s key fob which gave them access to the lab.
Fans took note of him connecting dots in his mind, but it’s anyone’s guess whether he’s on the right side of this or not.
Regardless, Britt is now in the position to stand up for Rocco, Charlotte, and Danny — clearing their name and outing Sidwell’s nefarious research and Dalton’s complicit nature. But will she take that risk?
General Hospital Spoilers — Britt Saves the Kids?
A lot is riding on this for Britt. She went to Sidwell in hopes that he would reel Dalton in and clean up the mess he made that implicated Rocco. Now, Danny and Charlotte are roped in too, and it’s going to be a runaway train situation rather quickly if she doesn’t do something about it.
However, that would mean going against the same guy who just put a bullet in Dalton’s chest right in front of her. Is Britt ready to risk her life for more kids of Port Charles just like she did with Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy)? We’re doubting it.
Instead, we think she might end up calling on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and finally spilling her guts to him about what happened when she “died” and how she got tangled with Sidwell — as well as what he’s up to with Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) work.
But will that help Jason save his son and the others? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
